What to expect at a Boudoir session.
Nerves.
Thats the first thing that floods everyones head when its their session date for a Boudoir. You get nerves about looking stupid, feeling out of place, being uncomfortable, and so many more things. BUT, you forget, you don’t have a regular photographer…. You have me! So let me walk you through a boudoir session in this blog and you can get a better feel for how they work!
You get an email a few days prior to the session, if you have hair and makeup added into your package you will be instructed to show up in clothes that wont need to be pulled over your head (so you don’t mess up your makeup or hair when you get into your outfit for the session) You show up at whichever spot we have picked together and go right into the makeup chair!
We chat and go over any outfits you brought while you are in the chair. Once you are done you get into your first outfit and we start! Now, if you have ever had a session with me, you know I don’t like long sessions. I think they are a waste of time. No one likes to sit in-front of a stranger basically naked for hours on end. So I keep sessions moving in a very efficient way. I will get you posed, and get the shots needed, and then we will move right into any other outfits or locations in the room that you want.
The sessions tend to take 25-30 minutes after hair and makeup. Now this is never something that is rushed or a set in stone time limit. I have just learned over the years how to make the sessions move quickly while getting you a full gorgeous gallery. Once your session is over we say our good byes and you head off on your way. Always feeling like the goddess you are! These sessions are so empowering, I have never had a client leave the session and not feel like a million bucks!
I get your session edited up, and you get the gallery! If you have a book added onto your package, or a video those are delivered later one and you are all set!!
Thats a whole session. Its kept nice and breezy so you get the best photos possible while having a lot of fun!
So, book the session. As you can see there is nothing to be nervous about :) I got you!
